The festive period is over for another year, the mince pies have been replaced by chocolate eggs in the supermarkets and Wave Kids is back up and running, fresh and ready for more.
Looking to the year ahead, there's lots of exciting things on the horizon, such as the Go Wild camp (http://www.scriptureunion.org.uk/ScriptureUnionHolidays/RegionalHolidays/SouthWest/GoWild/3622557.id) in May and the holiday club that we're hoping to run in August. Both of these are in the early stages of planning and preparation and your prayers for them would be very much appreciated. Also, the interns will have some big decisions to make over the next few months as they think about whether or not to continue with their training, and if they do, whether Swanage and and with Wave Kids is where God wants them to be. I too, have got some decisions to make. In August, I'll be in the final year of my contract (I know, it's come round so quickly!), and the Trustees will need to decide whether or not they want to keep me. On top of all this, there are the usual weekly groups and activities that we're involved with, and we want these to stay fresh and be the best they can be, and we want the children we work with to feel loved, supported and grow closer to God. 2018 has a lot in store for us and we can't wait to see what God's going to do! Thank you for your continued support and prayers, they (and you) are invaluable to God's plans.
